China DLO

 

During week one term four room nine and ten received a mysterious letter we received letter from kids like us from around a the world. We learnt what they eat what they do in their free time and what times they go to school so we made a DLO to share what we learnt. 

I learnt how to add audio so the reader can get a short but understandable fact about the image that is shown. to add audio you go to the website https://imclient.herokuapp.com/audiorecorder/ click the start button then stop when you've recorded click export as mp3 then you can listen to what you've recorded or straight away save to google drive. 

I found it easy to link the images to a website or video by copying the link of the website and clicking on the image then clicking on the paper clip in the tools bar and pasting the link.

I found it challenging to say the right thing without messing up wile i was recording and to know when to click the stop button.

I really enjoyed working with a buddy and learning something new and being able to make these slides so other people can learn the amazing colcher too.

Next time I should do another country and I will know what to do for a DLO. Next time I also need to make my slides more tidy and add my more detail to my audio.

What causes lightning

 

We were learning how to write explanation writing to explain something to someone we got to choose out of a couple of things to explain I couse what causes lightning in this slide it explains in a short way of what causes lightning. 

I found it easy to make my images on google drawing to show the reader what the text is saying visually for them to better understand everything.

I found it challenging to find the information i needed no make this side. I also found it hard to find an image for my background and reference images for my google drawings so I get a idea of what i'm going to do for the image that is maching my writhing.

I really enjoyed finding out for myself and for others what causes lightning I also really enjoyed making my google drawings and seeing the final product.

Next time I need t write way more detailed expansion and make it more understandable for the reader to know what image goes with what writing and what order to read in i also need to make my DLO more tidy.

How to brush your teeth

 

We were learning how to write instructions on how to brush your teeth. I found it easy to write the last instructions after I got used to writing them. I really enjoyed listing down the steps and what we need because I just really enjoyed all of it. I found it challenging to find out what to write at the start because its an everyday thing that you just know how to do so at the start I was a bit puzzled. Next time I will now know how to write instructions and even maybe not be as puzzled and I could also add more detail. 

If I were a tree during Autumn

We were learning about autumn in autumn so we had to write all about if I were a tree in autumn. I found it hard to express myself at the start but in the end I wrote quite a lot and i'm proud of myself that I did finish it in the end. I really enjoyed doing something new and challenging it was very fun and exciting. Next time I will know what to do straight away and get on with it.

HEAT EXPERIMENT!

I was learning about how the temprecher of water affects how food coloring reacts. I found it challenging to work with new people but in the end it all worked out. I really enjoyed doing something new and challenging. Next time I will work with others well and do even better.

My Comment Fridge

 

I was learning how to make a quality blog comment by introducing myself saying what I loved and ending with a question. I really enjoyed doing something new and learning something new. I found it challenging to find a question to ask about. Next time I will chose something else to write a comment on.

My Chinese Dragon.

I was Learning how to draw and paint a Dragon I learnt that both sides of the Dragon needed to be symmetrical.I found it hard to make both sides of the Dragon look similar because it's hard to make stuff look similar. I really enjoyed that we got to do something new and fun and exciting because it's always fun to try something new. Next time I will try harder to make it look brighter and work much harder on the symmetry.

MY SPEECH!!!!!!!!!

Today we were learning how to use Screencastify. I found it  easy to find a transition for my slides. I really enjoyed that we got to do something new and exciting. I found it hard to find gifs for my slides. Next time I need to practice more before recording.

My avatar

I was learning to use polyline and curve to make a avatar. I found it easy to have two photos and do the work over one. I found it hard to use polyline and curve because sometimes I mess up and I have to do the hole thing all over again. I really enjoyed that we got to try something new and exciting. Next time I need to work on the quality and tidiness of my avatar.

INFERENCING

This week we did Inferencing as you can see in these slides. I found it easy to do the inferencing because it's really enjoyable and fun. I really enjoyed this because it was really fun to do. Next time I need to work faster to finish this but still make sure it is quality learning.

My extinct animal collage

We were learning how to make a collage on a chromebook of an extinct animal. My learning shows how I learnt to use google drawings to make my extinct animal. I really enjoyed that we got to have fun on the chromebook while learning. I think that I could do better on the backround by making it collage to. I found it easy to make the legs and on the animal behind the animal and in front.

My Pepeha

Hi again this is my pepeha and in room 9 we had to draw and write things in our pepeha art like our name river and mountain. I enjoyed drawing the pictures  because it was the best part for me. Next time I will try to be faster at doing my learning but so it is still quality.

My T-Shirt

At the start of the year we made t-shirts and we had to draw and write on all about us on them. we did our picture, age, year, name and our fav fruit and veg, movie, song, sport, animal, place, drink, book and color. I found it challenging to draw my face because I couldn't make it the right size. Next time I'll try to draw lightly so I can rub it out.
